The Lime Green Sunny Morning 10 Cup Coffee Maker from Kalorik is a Questionable Bargain

When I went to purchase a new coffee maker about a year ago, I wanted something a little different, but I did not have a lot to spend. As important as coffee is in my life, spending a fortune on a coffee maker was not something I felt like doing. The unique look of the Sunny Morning 10 cup coffee maker from Kalorik drew me in. There were two colors to choose from when I bought mine: lime green or orange. Since I love unusual colors, I chose the lime green.

At first, it worked pretty smoothly. For a suggested retail of $34.95 it isn’t a terrible deal but it’s certainly not a durable product. For one thing, the machine actually leaks and that’s the main spoiler. The carafe is glass, but the way that the company has shaped it makes pouring your coffee a real pain if you like to pour without spilling all over the place. Out of all the coffee pots I’ve owned, this one is by far the messiest. The swing open filter is handier than having to use paper filters, too, but still does not make up for the mess of the machine itself. Unless you really love lime green I wouldn’t recommend this product as much as I wish I could.
